We would like to introduce ourselves as a consulting and services company in the field of centrifugal pumps.
We also manufacture special purpose centrifugal pumps for an international customer base. We are pleased to announce that we will be holding two training and workshop sessions on centrifugal pumps in Kolkata as per the following schedule:
About the Program
You will find details of the program in the attached brochure. You will also observe that the program has been conducted by us in several locations internationally over the last few years. This training program has been prepared to empower the pump users to make informed decisions about selection, operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps and about energy optimization in pumping systems. The program address practical needs of the pump users and is based on the intimate knowledge of the trainer in the pump industry, as manufacturer and consultant in the field of centrifugal pumps. The training is delivered through a combination of lectures and workshop sessions to allow participants to gain skills to solve practical day to day problems of pumping systems. A special highlight of the present program is a day spent in the factory to understand assembly, QA and performance test issues related to centrifugal pumps.

Course Benefits
After attending this training program, a pump user will be able to decide on the most appropriate type of pump for a specific application, finalize duty parameters, estimate hydraulic performance of the pump and decide on the most appropriate material specifications and construction features. They will also understand critical pump parameters he needs to review when evaluating the offers received from pump makers. Participants will also be able to understand and evaluate hydraulic performance of their existing centrifugal pumps and decide how to operate the pump within the intended service condition envelope. They will be able to understand the failure modes and decide on the monitoring frequency and control limits. Finally, the training program will enable the participants to compute the life-cycle-cost of any pumping system and identify opportunities for energy optimisation in his existing pumping installations.This four-day program covers construction details of centrifugal pumps, hydraulic and mechanical performance, pumping systems, materials of construction, energy optimization, quality assurance, bid evaluation, etc in a comprehensive manner to achieve the learning goals mentioned above.
The training will be delivered through a combination of lectures, workshop sessions and practical demonstration at our factory. These should allow participants to gain skills to solve practical day to day problems of pumping systems. Additionally, a documentary film titled “World of Pumps” has been produced to take the participants through all the steps in the manufacture of industrial centrifugal pumps from design and pattern building to assembly and performance testing.
